The Coronation Theater: Opening Night

It's finally time! Join us as we officially open the doors to our brand-new theater and celebrate this new chapter of The Coronation! After 10 months of planning, building, and dreaming, our new space is finally ready — and we are so ready to fill it with hot laughs, cold drinks, and good friends. Kick things off, we've got HTX Game Night. A completley improvised show where your suggestions help inspire the scenes, stories, and characters for the night. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Come early to hang out and enjoy food and drinks from our full bar and kitchen. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. There will be no late entry into the theater once the show has started. We’re so excited to show you the new space and celebrate with everyone who’s helped make The Coronation what it is.

Introduction to Improv

A class for everyone. Whether you want to give comedy a try, work on communication skills, or just make some new friends. You'll learn how to develop characters, tell stories, tap into your creative self, and gain the skills to be more confident.

Level 2

Two Person Scenes

The foundation of any good improv scene starts with two people on stage. You'll learn how to build strong, meaningful, and interesting relationships with your scene partner.

Level 3

Short Form Games

Our third level builds on what you learned in level two with the introduction of “short form” games, much like you’ve seen on Whose Line Is It Anyway? or Wildin’ Out.

Level 4

Show Structure

Welcome to Level 4 Improv, where we dive deep into the art of creating spontaneous scenes and sets! In this course, we'll push boundaries and explore advanced techniques to elevate your improvisational game. Editing scenes, tag outs, split screens, and more.

Level 5

Improv Forms

In your final level, you dive into the rich world of various improv forms. This level is designed to expand your improvisational toolkit by introducing you to different styles and formats, helping you discover what resonates with your unique comedic voice.
